General Requirements
We naturally want to make the application procedure as pragmatic as possible – for your sake as well. All the same, some specifications are important if we are to process your application quickly and comprehensively.
Please e-mail us your complete application with informative documents in digital form to our address bewerbungen(at)deutscherueck.de. This will ensure rapid processing and forwarding to the various specialist units. Applications by post are given equal status, but please bear in mind that processing is then more elaborate and, hence, more time-consuming.
For us, a "complete and informative application" comprises the following:
- Letter with self-description, motivation and job expectations. Please also make specific reference to the job title for the advertised vacancy and the medium through which you learned about it. Keep your letter manageable in size: no more than one to one-and-a-half pages, please.
- An updated, complete CV. Please indicate any gaps as well. There will probably be good reasons for them.
- All relevant certificates and testimonials from schools, universities and internships, as well as references and other important records. In the case of foreign testimonials, please include a key to the grading system used.
- If language skills are required, please be realistic. We will be going into this during the job interview anyhow.
File attachements
E-mail us your attachments in *.DOC, *.JPG or, ideally, *.PDF formats and as one file. If your records contain several files, please compress them in a ZIP file. Altogether, your documents should not exceed a volume of 4 MB.
Confidental treatment / data storage
Your application is treated in strict confidence and will at no time be forwarded to any third parties outside our company.
Please let us know if you are withdrawing your application, so that we can close the application process.
If no suitable vacancy is available at the moment, we will retain your records for six months. This gives us a possibility of contacting you again later on if an appropriate job opportunity arises.
We wish to point out that application records are always e-mailed in an unencrypted form.
