For candidates
We are on the look-out for experienced professionals as well as university graduates as future colleagues. Students are offered working-student activities and internships. We also train office administrators.
Experienced professionals
You have gained several years' professional experience at a primary insurer or reinsurer or in the financial-services sector in general – for example, as product manager, analyst, underwriter or in interdisciplinary functions – and are now seeking new career challenges? We give you an opportunity to extend your knowledge and develop into a specialist in your field of expertise by assuming new tasks. As your own competence and sphere of responsibility grow, so will your scope for action and your freedom to shape your own activities.
Graduates
Besides insurance specialists, our company employs above all economists, mathematicians and natural scientists, e.g. physicists and geologists. Graduates in these specialist fields have good prospects in our company. We are also interested in any qualifications that relate to our business – links that may not always be easy for outsiders to spot. If you're unsure: talk to us.
Students and interns
You are still pursuing your studies and would like to become a working student for us or acquire work experience during an internship? We basically offer both.
The prerequisites for any working-student activity or an internship are that you are studying an appropriate subject, e.g. mathematics, economics and business sciences or, of course, insurance. Natural scientists are another group we are interested in. You should have already made some progress in your course of studies – at least your first two to three semesters – and you have achieved presentable grades. If you are not quite sure, just get in touch with us: ideally at least two months before you wish to start. This will enable us to prepare your assignment with the specialist department concerned and ensure that there's a benefit – for both of us.
Apprentices
We have been training office administrators for more than ten years now. To the fore here is the individual advancement and support of our apprentices and trainees. Besides the central areas of secretarial office, accounting, human resources, communications and media, our apprentices also pass through the specialist departments in reinsurance. Supplementing this, we offer practise-geared, internal training sessions and the possibility of acquiring additional qualifications from Germany's Chamber of Commerce and Industry alongside the training course – for example, "Communications marketing on the job".
We are looking for motivated students who are about to complete their studies at a commercial college or sit a university entrance qualification exam such as the German Abitur and who want to have look around "outside the box".
